Where do our former students continue their education after graduating from Moonstone Academy, and what do they pursue.
UNIVERSITY DESTINATIONSAfter completing their studies at Moonstone Academy, many students choose to pursue A Levels in the Sixth Form, with plans to continue their education at university. Thanks to the skills and knowledge they gain during their time here, it’s always rewarding to see the majority of them accepted into their preferred universities. Students go on to explore a broad spectrum of subjects, from well-established fields like Law, Architecture, and Medicine, to more artistic disciplines like Animation and Television Production.
While university destinations differ each year, Moonstone Academy has a strong track record of guiding students toward some of the most prestigious institutions worldwide. Each year, between 20 and 25 students receive offers from renowned universities such as the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, with many successfully securing their places once results are released.
The success of our students can be attributed in part to the exceptional career guidance offered by the Sixth Form Team, coupled with their deep understanding of what it takes to create a standout university application.
Moonstone Academy is also proud to support applications to universities beyond the UK, assisting an average of 2-3 students each year with applications to US universities. In these cases, we tailor the information from UCAS applications to fit the requirements of the US system. Additionally, it’s important to note that numerous countries, including the Netherlands, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Latvia, and many others worldwide, offer degree programs taught in English.
