MOONSTONE ACADEMY

Economics & Business studies

Strong economics begins by acknowledging difficult truths, forming educated hypotheses about human behavior and proven theories, and then leveraging data to assess these hypotheses. Based on the findings, it adjusts or completely rethinks its strategy, and with a bit of luck, arrives at a practical resolution.

Economics and Business Studies offer a deeper understanding of both the world and the society we inhabit. Almost all of today’s major global challenges, such as climate change and the unrest in Afghanistan, are influenced by economic factors. Having a solid grasp of economics fosters a more comprehensive way of thinking.

We aim to provide students with opportunities to gain a deeper insight into how the economy and business sectors function, helping them strengthen their skills in analyzing and discussing contemporary economic issues.

We encourage students to explore the intricacies of the world they live in, enhancing their conceptual understanding and critical thinking abilities. This enables them to present their ideas in a well-structured manner, supported by solid evidence. Our approach is rooted in a setting of high standards and thought-provoking conversations that seek to engage all participants.
