Moonstone Academy is a co-educational selective grammar school in the West End , operating as a voluntary aided institution. We are committed to encouraging applications from students of all backgrounds within the designated postcode areas. We are excited to offer 192 spaces in Year 7 each year.

Each year, we are thrilled to receive a large number of applications from prospective students eager to join the Moonstone Academy community. However, we are particularly focused on broadening and diversifying our student body. The entrance exam days are a special event on our academy calendar, providing an opportunity for us to meet the future students who will join our academy. We understand that the idea of an entrance exam can feel overwhelming for both students and their families. Please note that Moonstone Academy only uses GL Assessment’s verbal reasoning and mathematics tests for our entrance exams.
