LETTINGS
Moonstone Academy offers a wide variety of facilities that are available for hire during non-school hours.
We welcome clubs, organizations, businesses, and individuals from the local community to hire and take advantage of our cutting-edge facilities. Our spaces offer both exclusivity and flexibility, accommodating events for groups ranging from 5 to 900 people.

Moonstone Academy has held a variety of events in both the Small Hall and the Great Hall.
Moonstone Lettings operates seven days a week, with closures only on bank holidays, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas, and New Year.

GREAT HALL
The Great Hall is a stunning venue, featuring exquisite chandeliers and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system that enhances the stage and the entire room. This sought-after space is highly favored by both corporate groups and private individuals.
With a seating capacity of 350, and the ability to accommodate over 500 people standing, it is perfect for a variety of events, including conferences, meetings, ballroom dancing, theatrical productions, choir performances, and fundraising events.
This one-of-a-kind facility offers a distinct atmosphere, complete with disabled access and Wi-Fi for added convenience.
When booking, you can choose from several additional options, including a projector, colored lighting, and microphones. Our dedicated in-house IT technician is also available to assist with all your technical sound and lighting needs.
Your booking includes tables, chairs, parking, restroom access, and a team of friendly staff members.
Please note, the school does not permit the use of this facility for social events such as parties, weddings, anniversaries, or special birthday celebrations.

SMALL HALL
Our Small Hall, located in The West End, London, is a spacious (26x12m) and adaptable venue, perfect for a variety of events. With seating for 120, it can easily transform into a function room, conference space, or meeting area. The room comes fully equipped with an interactive whiteboard, microphones, sound system, TV, and Wi-Fi to support your event needs.
Your booking includes tables, chairs, restrooms, ample parking, and attentive, friendly staff to assist throughout your event.
For added convenience, tea and coffee facilities are provided, along with access to a small kitchen servery area that features hot and cold water, sinks, and a small worktop. Please get in touch for more details, as availability is dependent on the type of event.

CLASSROOMS
If you need a smaller space, such as for meetings, we offer a variety of classrooms and drama rooms to choose from. Each classroom is equipped with modern appliances to meet your needs.

DINING HALL
The Dining Hall is a bright, spacious, and modern venue, offering versatility for a wide range of events. It opens directly onto the field at the rear, providing an abundance of natural light that creates a beautiful atmosphere, whether on a sunny day or during the twilight of a long, warm summer evening. This venue is ideal for various functions, including conferences, church services, holiday camps, fundraising events, and training courses.
Audio and visual equipment, including a projector and microphones, are also available for hire in this facility.
The Dining Hall is surrounded by a series of picnic tables and benches that extend from the rear to the right side, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for any gathering.
With a size of 28m x 10m, the hall can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. It offers flexible seating arrangements and layouts that can be tailored to meet the needs of different events. Your booking includes tables, chairs, access to restrooms, ample parking, and helpful, friendly staff to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Please be aware that the kitchen area is unavailable for use or hire. Additionally, this hall is not available for weddings, parties, or any one-off social events.
MOON STUDIO
Moon Studio offers seating for 180 guests and can accommodate up to 200 people for standing events. This spacious, professional studio theatre is equipped with advanced lighting, sound, and A/V systems. Additionally, there is a dedicated changing area located behind the stage.
The venue is ideal for a wide range of events, including drama productions, art exhibitions, and lectures.
Please note that technician time is required as part of your booking to operate the sound and lighting systems. Our technicians will collaborate with you to ensure that your event runs seamlessly and you make full use of all the available resources.
DRAMA ROOM
The Drama Rooms are perfect for drama lessons, rehearsals, dance, aerobics, yoga, and more. Each room is equipped with black curtains that can cover up to three sides, offering flexibility for various activities.
These spaces are excellent for drama clubs and organizations seeking a small, dedicated area to practice and rehearse technical movements, whether for dance or acting. They can also serve as calming environments for meditation or relaxation classes.
Your booking includes Wi-Fi access, parking, restroom facilities, and the support of friendly staff.
Room dimensions: 8m x 7m and 10m x 7m.
CWM CENTRE
Our centre is located in the charming countryside of Rhayader, East Wales, and is also close to the beautiful Elan Valley. It’s an ideal location for walking, hiking, and exploring nearby attractions such as the Elan Valley reservoirs, waterfalls, and wildlife.
The centre offers the following facilities:
- Two dormitories sleeping up to 40 people.
- Two bunk rooms accommodating up to eight people each.
- A kitchen for self-catering.
- Common room/lounge area for relaxation and socializing.
- Kit room with pegs and benches for equipment storage
- Three shower/toilet rooms
- A small grass area suitable for tents
- Car park with space for up to 20 cars
SIXTH FORM COMMOM ROOM
Our Sixth Form Common Room provides an excellent space for meetings, tutoring sessions, and debating clubs. It is contemporary, well-lit, and spacious, creating a welcoming environment.
The room is equipped with air conditioning and accessible for those with disabilities, making it a perfect choice for frequent business gatherings and study groups.
Your booking comes with essential amenities including tables, chairs, Wi-Fi, parking, restrooms, and supportive staff.
Additional features, such as a projector and microphones, can be included with your reservation, along with access to our in-house IT Technician to assist with any technical needs.

PITCH
The all-weather, cutting-edge pitch at Moonstone Academy, complete with floodlights and secure gates, is a recent addition to the facilities. Constructed in 2021, it has been actively used since the autumn of the same year.

FITNESS CENTRE
The Fitness Suite is equipped with a variety of cardio machines and fixed weight machines, along with a central area for mat-based exercises.
Available equipment includes bikes, cross trainers, treadmills, rowing machines, steppers, and more.
The fixed weight machines feature shoulder press, chest press, leg curl, triceps extension, and much more. Additionally, there is a punch bag for training.
SPORTS HALL
Our expansive Sports Hall accommodates a wide range of sports, including badminton (with four courts), basketball (offering four small courts or one full-sized court), indoor football, and netball. It is also ideal for activities like aerobics, dance, and club meetings.
In addition, there are nearby changing rooms and shower facilities, which are included as part of the booking.The hall is spacious, well-maintained, and versatile, making it suitable for both casual use and organized events. Whether you’re hosting a friendly game, a tournament, or a fitness class, the facility provides a perfect environment for all types of sports and activities. Our friendly staff is always on hand to ensure your session runs smoothly and all your needs are met.
GYMNASIUM
The Gymnasium, which is smaller than the Sports Hall, features markings for badminton, basketball, gymnastics, and netball. It also includes two climbing frames and offers an excellent area for dance activities.
This room is fully equipped with a pull-down screen and sound system, making it a great venue for community meetings.
FIELD
Our seven-acre grass field is ideal for a full-size football pitch with goals, smaller football pitches with goals, rugby, hockey, rounders, and athletics. It also features two artificial cricket pitches.
This spacious area is perfect for hosting events like outdoor gatherings, charity fundraisers, sports tournaments, team-building activities, and local community celebrations. The versatile space offers ample room for a variety of outdoor activities, making it a popular choice for both sporting events and social occasions.
